POSITION TITLE: MANAGER
POSITION SUMMARY:
35-50 Hours per Week – Hourly Pay
Reports Daily: Area Manager & Director of Operations
The Store Manager supervises daily operations and ensures all food safety, product preparation, customer service and cleanliness standards are maintained for their restaurant. The store manager is responsible for the daily and weekly controls of the restaurant including cash, inventory and labor hours. The store manager interviews, hires, trains and supervises all sandwich artists according to company standards. The store manager maintains company standards of restaurant safety and security. Motivates and leads by example, the store manager executes all of the tasks that of a sandwich artist with excellence. Exceptional customer service is a major component of this position. The goal is to have a store manager for every location, but there will be circumstances where a restaurant will run without a store manager.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Represent the company in a professional manner at all times. Maintain and enhance the 




company’s image when interacting with guests, associates and vendors.

Must have open availability; willing to work nights, weekends, holidays and at neighboring locations. Is the first layer of required coverage for store shifts in case of emergency or call-outs.
•
Resolves employee issues including shift call-outs according to company policy.
•
Collects and accounts for all money on a daily basis. Coordinates bank deposits daily, based on the banks’ schedule.

Responsible for the accurate and timely completion of the restaurant Red Book and management Red Book on a daily basis.
•
With Area Manager’s help; reviews employment applications, interviews, hires and trains all new employees.
•
Assigns all store personnel to the store schedule based on Area Manager’s direction.
•
Recommends the promotion and/or transfer of employees.
•
Conducts written and verbal staff evaluations and write ups.
•
Coordinates all store food orders accurately and completely based on company goals and area manager’s direction.
•
Assists in the store transfer of food.
•
Reports to senior management daily via the daily shift summary outlining all key indicators and activities for each workday.
•
Observes all personnel at the beginning and throughout their shift for compliance with appearance and uniform policies, customer service expectations, quality control and company standards.
•
Coordinates and supervises staff so that the standards of customer service, cleanliness, food preparation, food safety and operational standards are maintained as outlined in the operations manual.

Maintains restaurant equipment in good working order.
•
Directs, coordinates and participates in all tasks and responsibilities of sandwich artist as outlined in the sandwich artist job description.
PREREQUISITIES:
Education: Two (2) year associates or equivalent time with QSR management experience.
Experience: Previous QSR or restaurant experience required.
Travel: A valid driver’s license and transportation required. Must be willing to travel up to 10 miles.
Other: This job requires excellent communication skills and ability to deal with all levels of employees. A working portable telephone is required.
Physical: Position requires bending, standing, and walking the entire workday in a very fast paced environment. This position requires the physical and mental stamina to work up to 50 hours per week and making yourself accessible all week long in case of emergency. You must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
BENEFITS AND COMPENSATION:
Compensation: Starting at $12 /hour
Vacation: After one year with the company, store managers receive one week (40 hours) paid vacation. After three years with the company, store managers receive two weeks (80 hours) paid vacation.
Paid Time Off (PTO): None
Health Insurance: After six (6) months, store managers are eligible to enroll for health coverage for the next enrollment period. The company pays 50% coverage for individuals. Family coverage is available at the expense of the employee.
