POSITION TITLE: SANDWICH ARTIST
POSITION SUMMARY:
3-40 Hours per Week – Hourly Pay
Reports Daily: Store Manager and Area Manager
A Sandwich Artist greets and serves guests, prepares food, maintains food safety standards, maintains sanitation standards, and processes light paperwork. Exceptional customer service is a major component of this position.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Represent the company in a professional manner at all times.  Maintain and enhance the company’s image when interacting with guests, associates and vendors.
Timely and punctual on attendance.  Must have a flexible schedule and be able to work nights, weekends and holidays.
Has a cheerful and helpful attitude with guests.  Greets, thanks, makes guests feel welcomed and is accommodating to their needs.
Maintains a professional appearance and grooming standards at all times as outlined in the Operations Manual.
Cooperates with other team members and management.
Prepares food neatly, accurately, and in a timely way.
Maintains the restaurant’s high level of cleanliness.  Cleans the restaurant and equipment as directed by the management team.
Understands and adheres to all quality standards, formulas and procedures as outlined in the Operations Manual.
Accounts for all forms of money during the shift.
Performs light paperwork duties as assigned.
Creates a safe environment for the restaurant
Operates all equipment (register, oven, etc) safely and efficiently.
Completes all other restaurant tasks and activities assigned by the restaurant manager.  Looks for tasks to do during any downtime. 
Attends required store meetings, usually held once per month.

PREREQUISITES:
Education: Some high school or equivalent
Experience: Some QSR experience preferred but not required. 
Other: Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instruction.
Physical: Must be able to work any area of the restaurant when needed and to operate a computerized cash register. Position requires bending, standing, and walking the entire workday and sometimes over 8 hours.  Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
